June - September is BUSY
Castles, cruises, campus tours, and coastal vibes — I have a feeling 2026 is going to be one for the books. Here's where life is taking me over the next few months.
The Most Magical Month
Walt Disney World + Disney Wish Cruise — Orlando, FL & Nassau, Bahamas & Castaway Cay
June kicks off with a trip to Disney World — and we are not wasting a single minute. We're talking extended hours at Hollywood Studios plus days at Epcot day at Magic Kingdom, and a well-deserved pool day sprinkled in. Disney Springs for the vibes, the shopping, and let's be honest — the food.
This is my happy place, my recharge spot, and my people-watch-from-a-churro-in-hand kind of trip. No agenda, just magic.
I'm getting on the Disney Wish with the most wonderful group of humans: my son and his best friend, one of my parents, my sister, two adult nieces, their three kiddos, one of my best friends and her two kids, and one of my niece's friends with their husband and son. It's a whole crew. It's a whole experience.
For some of these people, this is their very first Disney experience AND their very first cruise. We're sailing to Nassau and Castaway Cay, and I fully intend to cry happy tears at least once on the deck.
Across the Pond (and then some)
Edinburgh, Scotland + London and Oxford, England
Landree has been accepted to a summer seminar at the University of Oxford. I mean. OXFORD. So naturally, we are making an entire adventure out of it.
We fly into Edinburgh first for a proper vacation before the academic chapter begins.
Exploring Edinburgh with the kid is going to be something I cherish forever. The cobblestones, the castle, the energy of that city — I just know it's going to be one of those trips. And getting some genuine mom-and-me time with my own mom? That alone makes the whole journey worth every mile.
We have a few days in the city before we drop him at Oxford... Then — London becomes mine. I'll be based there for the entirety of his seminar, and honestly? I am not mad about it one bit.
Top of the London list: The Devil Wears Prada musical. I have been waiting for this. Mom will be here for most of the time as well, so there will be plenty of proper London moments shared between us.
Busy, Beautiful September
Auchen Castle, Scotland + Boston, Salem & Coastal Maine
Back to Scotland in September — and this time it's for the most magical reason. One of my clients is getting married at Auchen Castle, and I get to be there for it. A destination wedding at a Scottish castle. It doesn't get more fairytale than that.
One of the true joys of what I do is helping people navigate something as complex and emotional as a destination wedding — not just the couple, but their family and friends figuring out how to get there, where to stay, what to do before and after. Being present for the actual day, in that castle, watching it all come together? That's the part that fills my cup all the way up.
I am closing out a genuinely packed month by running away with some of my absolute favorite people on this planet. A group bestie trip to Boston, Salem, Portland and small towns of Coastal Maine
Bring on the fall foliage, the haunted history, the lobster rolls, the cider, the cozy sweaters, and every single creepy, cozy vibe New England has to offer in the best month of the year. This one is purely for the soul.
